Forensic Navigation Ltd was founded by Andy Sayers and Paul Weall, both current practioners in the field of Computer Forensics.
Paul is nationally known as one of the leaders into research in Sat Nav Forensics and has presented his work to national conferences.
Together, Paul and Andy have created TomTology.

TomTology 1.166 released.
A number of bug fixes.
Implemented a viewer mode: The TomTology exe can be run and if a dongle is not detected you have the option of a 'viewer mode'. Previously created case files can be opened but new ones cannot be created.

A new version of TomTology is now in Beta testing. It addresses all bugs currently listed on our forum.
It will now find all live and deleted SMS messages and will read the new format of the x40 range of TomToms.

Version 1.163 Released.
Added functionality to export a summary report, this shows one hit for each location per location type. If the same favourite appears in 200 recovered cfg files it will appear only once as a favourite in the sumary report.
Added the ability to export all found locations to a tab-separated-value spreaddsheet, also showing offsets for each.
Fixed a few minor bugs.

One observation about an otherwise excellent piece of kit - on Tomtology v1.154, in all areas apart from Last GPS Fix on the Last Journey page, the Latitude and Longitude column headers are swapped over from where they should be. The headers are correct in the html reports.

Version 1.170 Released. There is one installer for both 32bit and 64bit operating systems. Selecting a Google Earth output will give you an option for an analytical output. This will place larger pins where there is a lot of activity.
